Day 1 Almaty

Meeting at airport, transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Almaty

Breakfast. Morning city tour starts at Park of 28 Panfilov’s fighters, Zenkov’s Cathedral and War Memorial complex.

Almaty may have lost its status as capital of Kazakhstan, but it remains the country’s first city, cultural, educational, tourist and business capital and main transport hub. This beautiful town at the foot of the emerald Tien Shan Mountains is rightly called a garden city.

Lunch at café.

After lunch in local café we continue Almaty sightseeing tour at Zelonniy Bazar (Green Bazaar), the Abay State Opera and Ballet Theatre, Central Museum with Ethnographic and Archaeological departments and we will see the Independence Monument in Republic Square, Arbat, and Central mosque. 

Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 3

Almaty

Shanxi village

Bishkek 250km

Breakfast. Transfer from Almaty to Bishkek. En-route visit Shanxi village.

Lunch.

Crossing Kazakh-Kyrgyz border takes about one – two hour. Upon arrival in Bishkek accommodation in the hotel. Rest.

Dinner and overnight in the hotel. -

Day 4 Bishkek

Breakfast.

We are transferred to Manas Square and visit Manas Monument, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people. Then excursion to the State History Museum and transfer to the main Ala Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor, main governmental buildings, and finish at the Old Square with Parliament House.

Lunch in café.

Visit to the Victory Square to continue the city tour by short excursion there. After excursion tourists may go shopping in the department store in the city - ZUM.

Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 5

Bishkek

Ala Archa

Tashkent

Breakfast.

After the breakfast excursion to National Natural Park Ala Archa. It located in a picturesque gorge of Ala Archa 40 km off from Bishkek. At the territory of the park tourists can trek up the Ak Sai gorge.

It is a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering including trips to more than 20 glaciers. It covers an area of 200 km2 mostly forested valleys, waterfalls and rivers rich in trout. The altitude of ranges varies from 1500m to the highest point 4895m.
At the territory of the park tourists can trek up the Ak Sai gorge (side gorge of the main Ala Archa gorge) to enjoy views of magnificent peaks of Kyrgyz Alatau Ridge (Tien Shan Mountains). You can reach Ak Sai waterfall and have picnic lunch there. If you are not in a great desire for long trekking you may easily hike along the fast mountain river in the main gorge of Ala Archa.

In the afternoon we drive back to Bishkek.

Lunch in cafe.

Transfer to the airport to take flight to Tashkent.
Meeting guests at Tashkent International Airport.
Transfer for local restaurant for dinner.
After dinner, accommodation in the hotel.
Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6

Tashkent

Samarkand

Tashkent 

Early breakfast in the hotel.

Transfer to Tashkent Railway station. Depart to Samarkand by bullet train “Afrosiab”

Arrival in Samarkand at 10:10.

Sightseeing tour in Samarkand: Gur-Emir Mausoleum (15c), Registan Ensemble (including Ulugbek (15c), ShirDor (17c), Tillya –Kari Madrassahs (17c), Bibi Khanum Mosque.

Lunch.

Sightseeing tour in Samarkand: Shah-i-Zinda necropolis (14-15c), “Stars above Samarkand”: tour to Ulugbek observatory (15c). Transfer to Samarkand Railway station. Depart to Tashkent at 17:00 by bullet train. Arrival in Tashkent at 19:10.

Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent. 

Day 7 Tashkent

Breakfast.

Sightseeing tour in Tashkent:

Mausoleum of Kaffal Ash-Shashi, Barak Khan Madrassah, Imam Bukhari High Religious School, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Museum of Islamic Manuscripts. Visiting oldest bazar in Tashkent.

Lunch.
Accommodation in the hotel.
Visiting independence square.
Amir Temur Square including museum of Temurids.
Dinner.

Day 8

Tashkent

Khujand

Breakfast.
Drive to Uzbek-Tadjik border. Oybek 
Meeting guests at Tadjik border.
Visit History Musuem, and Sheykh Muslihiddin Mosque,  Saidkhuja Urunkhudjayev palace, kalakum reservoir, and Panchshanbe market.
Dinner. Overnight in the hotel. 

Day 9

Khujand

Istarevshan

Dushanbe

Breakfast.

Drive from Khujand to ancient craft city of Istaravshan by jeeps (80km 1.5 hours). Sightseeing in Istaravshan. Mughtepa archeological site from II-III cc BCE. View of ancient city. Central Mosque of Khazrati Shoh, Medresse of Kokgumbaz (Sultan Abdullatif) XVI cc AD. Ancient mahallas (Community neighborhoods) of Istaravshan “Havzi moron”(Snake’s water pool), “Masjidi burchak”(corner mosque), “Masjidi safed” (White mosque). Sary Mazor cemetery and mosque.

Lunch in Istaravshan in national restaurant.

Then drive to Shakhristan, visiting of She mother wolf’s monument and the ancient soghdian garrison from IV-VII cc AD. After drive to Dushanbe (200 km) through the mountain tunnel of “Shakhristan”(5500 meters length!, built by China road company) On the way nice mountain pass views for photos.

Arrival at Dushanbe. Accommodation in hotel, dinner, overnight.

Day 10 Dushanbe

Breakfast in the hotel.

Sightseeing in Dushanbe: Excursion to the Independence Square, Main street named by Rudaki, WWII memorial with tank near Textile factory, Ismail Samani street. Highest flag stock with 168 meters height, the only in Central Asia., newly opened under the initiative of the president of Tajikistan Central Museum of History, Flora and Fauna, the unique one in Central Asia. Visiting of Khuja Yaqub mosque.

13:00 Lunch in Chinese restaurant.

Visiting of Central Department Store.

Supermarket, Green Bazaar of Shohmansur. Pamiri musical instruments museum. Dushanbe Ismaili’s mosque.

Dinner, then go to airport.
